1^st day
Arrival at José Martí International Airport, Havana. Transfer to your hotel. Check in. Dinner. Evening free.

2^nd day 
Breakfast. Tour of the historic center of the city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  Transfer to Montemar Natural Preserve on the Zapata Peninsula. Boat trip across the Laguna del Tesoro to Hotel Guamá. Check in.  Lunch. 

Afternoon bird-watching session, two options: 

• First: Bermejas area, full of woods and palm trees, nest-building area, especially for different species of woodpeckers 
• Second: a nearby area full of natural wells, the ideal habitat for different species of pigeons 

3^rd day
Early breakfast. Visit to La Salina Wild Life Refuge, an area frequented by different species of water birds that live in the many mangrove swamps, coastal lagoons and woods to be found there. Packed lunch. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Night bird-watching session. Return to the hotel. 

4^th day 
Early breakfast. Visit to Santo Tomás Wild Life Refuge, famous for being the habitat of three very rare species of birds:

• the Ferminia (Ferminia cerverai), endemic in this area 
• the Cabrerito de la Ciénaga (Torrearnis inexpectata)
• the famous and rarely sighted Gallinuela de Santo Tomás (Cyanolimnas cerverai) 

5^th day
Breakfast. Departure in the direction of Havana. Transfer to the National Botanical Garden for a guided bird-watching tour. Visit to the Japanese Garden and lunch at the Ecorestaurante. Then on to Soroa, check in at Hotel & Villas  Soroa, situated in the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve. Dinner. Evening free.

6^th day
Early breakfast. Bird-watching session in the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere reserve. Return to the hotel. Lunch. Visit to the orchid collection and waterfall. Bird-watching session. Dinner. Evening free. 

7^th day
Breakfast. Early departure for La Guira National Park. Bird-watching session. Packed lunch. Afternoon bird-watching session. Return to the hotel. Country- style farewell dinner.

8^th day
Breakfast. Transfer to Havana airport and return to country of origin.
