Located
on the central corner of Obispo and Mercaderes in Old Havana we find the
Ambos Mundos, where the writer Ernest Hemingway stayed during the thirties.
Here he wrote the first part of his novel For Whom the Bell Tolls. His
room has been preserved as a museum. The Roof Garden offers spectacular
views of Old Havana, the bay and the city's defense system.
